Description

This goes along with my piece "Watch Out" they are part of a series of people and their monsters. I wanted to do a couple of drawings with a finished pencil version to go along with a full colored version. Hope you enjoy.

Colored version soon to come.

Hopefully

I love it! The detail is fantastic. I like how your frame doesn't for a straight 90 degree angle too! Well done Matthew! +10

Excellant job with shading alone, plus idea was a nice starting off point for a piece. I agree about how you broke out from the rigid traditional framework as it is overlapped by the dust bunnies and her broom. Manner in which you detailed lighting really works well in this scene and looks familar to traditional hallway light sources. End of hallway could have something happing back there, since it comes off a little on the empty side. Adding hinges and a door nob at end or another door a left area towards back. Just something other than what is occuring in the foreground, just a thought. Well done.

Really like the perspective and the fact that the broom and dust go outisde of the border line.

After looking at the color version you can really see how skilled you are. This is just about as strong as the color version.
