Description

This piece was done in the same vein as Caca monster. The idea developed one night while I was at the gym and the thought of a kid’s toys warning him of some looming threat. I don’t usual take my pencil sketches this far but I wanted to try something little different for the next couple piece have a finish pencil drawing to go along with the color version.

Hope you enjoy. There will be a color version to follow shortly.

This is for you Dean. Working up that cross hatch, just don’t feel like cleaning my pens.

Really well done with creating a "looming threat" just behind a kid. The proximity of hands around kids' head adds a dash fear of what's going to happen next. You seemlessly captured this scene at such a pivotal moment. The idea for this piece, especially the pointing by the toy is intriguing to the viewer.

The biggest problem with you is that it's getting difficult to find new ways to praise your work...I might have to start resorting to 'cool' and 'wow' and I really don't think of myself as a 'cool' or 'wow' kinda guy (damn you!!!)

Cool!!! :):):):):)
