Description

Does anybody remember when the water temperature started to matter. Growing up = thinking to much. 30 by 41 inches at 300 res. Pencil drawing color in photoshop. Thanks for viewing.

i love the fisheye effect...it adds movement and spontanaity(sp?) to the piece. great job!

u create the most awesome friggin textures man, the ripples in the water, the wood grain, the pool tiles, the pebbles, the leaves, the hair, the skin, even the friggin noodles! its so damn crisp, awesome stuff man +10

Fascinating composition! I'm not fond of swimming myself, but nonetheless this makes for a refreshing image and entrance to summer. :)

Thanks Dean, Encujr, Bakatron, Freiz, and Metapuppet.
Dean- the red thingys on the wall are floating noodles they became real big when i was around this age. They really didnt work to good at making people float but they were great for beating other people with and trying to swim them to the buttum of the pool to watch them fly up.
Bakatron- hey buddy still around just been alittle busy you know how it is. I'll shoot you a PM

Although there's no stylistic similarity I always think of Rockwells' work when I look at your pieces...you are the architypal American Illustrator, giving us little snapshots from the life of Joe Everyman...a real joy.
