The perspective is off, but I think that was your intention?

Great technique + 10

beautiful hatching, Matt. Your color pieces are great, but I really enjoy your b/w hatched pieces the best. I'd like to see you use this technique on one of your personal ideas...+10

...please tell me the Escher perspective was intentional :)

I like your style and technique, but dude....

...the perspective is way off base. Perhaps it was intentional, although if it was, I don't know why.

Very good drawing skills but as said before teh perspective is way off. Now if it is intentional its still way off lol. So I cannot give you 10 cos its making me feel sea sick lol.

Great pencil skills though.8

Matthew,

I'm just curious what you were aiming for with this image.
Your skills are extreem, so the perspective issue can't be
some kind of 'mistake'...
Just would like to know what your vision is with this piece.
Anyways, top notch!

I'm digging the detail you put into this one, however the subject doesn't rock my socks very much.

Avatar Andy--Jones

 05/18/06 @091

yes I would also like to know lol. I too assume that its deliberate.

Hi everyone thanks for all the comments. Yeah i think the issues with perspective came about from the photo i took of the drawing. There was a good deal of lens distortion that rounded the piece out. If thats not it maybe I'll take the it's my style and i meant it approach. Otherwise i just have to fall on the just got not skill sword, hehe. Really evreyone thankyou very much for taking a look.

To Wallace and Bakatron thanks for taking a look at my "metrosexual" mug. To anyone who hasnt seen his work check out http://snapshotjs.gfxartist.com/ he takes great pictures. He took the one of me in my profile.

The monochromatic pen and ink style is competent but your perspective needs work.

Avatar Gianna23

 05/22/06 @681

yeah the pesrpective is a little wonky, but it works because you like to play with that so much. The detail and contrast is very nice.
