Well, folks, as a child i was creepily cute and my eyes are basically black, so i think he caught the mood of the original photo(creepy ) . The nose looks askew a bit in this, but then again, my nose is askew, LOL! I like the tree in the BG, its ashame they cut that tree down

The way you used the pencil clearly shows that this could be a wonderful vector art (it's already wonderful). The way you put the light and the shadows is almost "Illustratoresque". What do you think?

Very impressive image. Great shading skills! The drawing looks like it was watercolored or inked in some places instead of shaded with a pencil. I gotta go look at it some more
