Description

This is made out of sheet brass. It was hand hammered and form. Finally it was soldered together, pickled, sandblasted, and sealed with a clear coat. The piece stands around 7 inches tall. It was the first metal forming i've done and I got to tell you i really fell in love.

Cute piece..the only thing I'm not too keen on is the clear coat finish...something like this in just the raw brass with a little patination would be cooler in my opinion.

Thanks guys for the comments. Kaduflyer, I definetly see want you mean about the patina. During the soldering it got a nice fire scale going and i almost kept it like that but i chicken out. Thanks for the patina idea im gong to try it out in future projects.
